How Weapon Progression Works

Slime Seas weapons progress through three parallel sources: chests (Forest / Forest Elder / Forest Lord for Zone 1), merchant purchases (Verdant Katana, Elder Forest Greatsword), and boss drops (Slime Katana, Thornblade, Doomblade, Monarch's Scythe, etc.). Each weapon has a level requirement — you can't wield a higher-level weapon without the level to match, regardless of how early it drops.

The raw attack damage of a weapon before race buffs, mastery multipliers, potions, or Blacksmith upgrades. Most weapons can be upgraded with crystals — the first upgrade is always a guaranteed success.
