Best overall gamepass
Extra Boss Drop. One extra boss chest per kill doubles your loot-per-fight, which compounds across the entire game. High priority.
Best for farmers
More Chests. Significantly boosts chests dropped by regular slimes, which means more weapons (Wooden/Iron/Refined/etc.) and dismantle crystals.
Only worth it if you main Greatsword
Berserker Starterpack. Unlocks the Berserker stance plus unique gear. Skip if you play Katana or Scythe — the stance only scales Greatsword.
Skip unless whale
VIP (subscription). 1.15x XP and daily gems are mild; the ongoing cost rarely pays off unless you play daily for months.

Best Gamepass Picks for Your Playstyle
- Boss hunter: Extra Boss Drop is the single highest-value pass. More Chests helps too if you farm slimes between boss runs.
- Greatsword main: Berserker Starterpack. It changes your Greatsword skill kit to the Berserker set (Impaling Thrust / Leaping Slam / Colossal Slam).
- Farmer / crystal grinder: More Chests + 2x Dismantle Speed. Triples your upgrade velocity.
- Casual player: Skip everything except Extra Boss Drop. VIP's subscription rarely pays off at low daily playtime.
Stance vs Starterpack: What Berserker Actually Is
Berserker is a Greatsword stance, not a separate weapon type. You still use Greatswords; the pass swaps your skill kit to the Berserker versions. PvP damage: Impaling Thrust 1,200 (Mastery 1), Leaping Slam 900 (Mastery 3), Colossal Slam 1,200 (Mastery 5). It opens with the highest single-skill damage in the game but doesn't scale as high as Katana's Thousand Slashes (2,700).
Pass Combinations That Stack
- More Chests + 2x Dismantle + 2x Crafting = fastest upgrade loop.
- Extra Boss Drop + Berserker Starterpack = boss-farming Greatsword main.
- VIP + Extra Boss Drop = daily gem drip-feed plus boss loot boost.
Slime Seas Gamepasses FAQ
How many gamepasses does Slime Seas have?+
Six published gamepasses: VIP (subscription), More Chests, 2x Dismantle Speed, Berserker Starterpack, 2x Crafting Speed, and Extra Boss Drop.
Which Slime Seas gamepass should I buy first?+
Extra Boss Drop if you plan to farm bosses (Rima, Sinbad, Ogre Lord, Monarch Statue). One extra chest per kill doubles your drop expected value on rare items like Doomblade (0.51%) and Shadow Monarch.
Is the Berserker gamepass worth it?+
Only if Greatsword is your main mastery. Berserker is a Greatsword stance — its skills (Impaling Thrust 1,200 PvP damage, Leaping Slam, Colossal Slam) replace Greatsword's default kit. Katana and Scythe mains get nothing from it.
Does VIP give a big XP boost?+
Not really. VIP is 1.15x XP — smaller than the 1.5x Superior EXP Potion. It shines through the daily gem trickle and extra daily spin, not the XP multiplier.
Do More Chests and 2x Dismantle stack?+
Yes. More Chests raises the rate chests drop; 2x Dismantle doubles how fast you can turn those chest weapons into upgrade crystals. They're the farmer combo.
