Iron Novice Set from Demon Lord Rima. Chestplate 540-660 defense at 17.75%, Pants 360-441 defense at 23.66%. Huge HP jump from the Leather starter set.
Best mid-Zone 1 armour
Slime Lord Set from Rima. Chestplate 900-1,100 defense at 8.87%, Pants at 12.42%. Doubles your defense from Iron Novice.
Best end-game armour path
Apprentice Plate (Ogre Lord drop) upgrades into Enchanted Plate — the current end-of-Zone-3 armour. Shadow Steel and Igris sets from Monarch Statue extend into Zone 4.
Skip the starter leather?
No — it protects you through Zone 1's first 15 levels. Leather Chestplate is 50 defense, Pants 25. Switch to Iron Novice after your first Rima kill.

Armour Progression Path
- Leather Set (level 0-15) — starter. 50 DEF chestplate, 25 DEF pants.
- Iron Novice Set (post-Rima) — 540-660 DEF chestplate. First real upgrade.
- Slime Lord Set (farm Rima) — 900-1,100 DEF chestplate. Push to Zone 2.
- Copper Novice / Thorn (post-Sinbad) — Zone 2 clearance set.
- Steel Adventurer (post-Ogre Lord, common drop) — Zone 3 entry.
- Apprentice Plate → Enchanted Plate (rare Ogre Lord drop + Blacksmith upgrade) — end of Zone 3.
- Shadow Steel / Igris (Monarch Statue) — Zone 4 end-game.

Iron Novice Set from Demon Lord Rima. Chestplate 540-660 defense (17.75% drop), Pants 360-441 (23.66%). Farm Rima 3-4 times and you'll likely complete the set.
How do I get the Slime Lord Set?+
Also a Demon Lord Rima drop. Chestplate 900-1,100 defense at 8.87%, Pants at 12.42%. Rarer than Iron Novice but twice the defense.
What armour does King Sinbad drop?+
Copper Novice Set and Thorn Set, alongside his Thornblade weapon. Drop rates aren't published on the Trello yet.
What is the best end-game armour?+
Enchanted Plate is the final World 3 armour — you get it by beating Ogre Lord, collecting Apprentice Plate drops, and upgrading them at the Blacksmith. Monarch Statue drops Shadow Steel and Igris sets for Zone 4.
Can I craft armour at the Blacksmith?+
No — armour sets cannot be crafted. They come from boss drops (most sets), gamepass purchase (Berserker), or are the default starter (Leather). You can dismantle old armour into crystals and upgrade your current set's tier at the Blacksmith.
